Certainly at this blog, but also my old FB home page, I’ve sadly posted very few pictures of our youngest daughter, Judy Faye. It’s a regret I feel for all our kids. First born got a ton of pixs, but less and less for the other siblings that followed. So, thought we’d get some pictures up for Judy before her baby-hood is over. These photos were taken this summer, and ‘yes’ we still do a bit of gardening. Above is Judy in our mostly squash and tomato patch. We’ve been enjoying a lot of vegetarian sandwiches and BBQ squash, but Judy picks them both ripe and green!

Many Returns Asilomar

Asilomar in Pacific Grove CA (southern Monterey Bay) has been a long time vacation spot for our family, and I’ve been visiting this beach since a small child (almost fifty years). Within that stretch of time, I am thankful to have worked in nearby Marina as a math instructor since this was a time when my young family frequently spent part of the week in Monterey, getting to know her shores and wonderful climate (I generally prefer California’s foggy and colder coast to the hot interior of the valleys and mountains). So, the kids continue where I leave off, enjoying happy memories much like my own.
